再び、Parker's Wine Bargains(邦題『ワインの帝王ロバート・パーカーが薦める世界のベスト・バリューワイン』)から。

From few if any other places on earth can one still harvest such affordable yet distinctively delicious wines; the stylistic range is so vast that it would bewilder if it did not bewitch us.

解説>

From few if any other places on earth can one still harvest such affordable yet distinctively delicious wines; the stylistic range is so vast that it would bewilder if it did not bewitch us.

From few (if any) places

From few (if any) places も「ほとんど~ない」という否定の意味を持ち副詞的に働いているので、後ろが「can + S + 動詞の原形」という疑問文の形になっています。

From few (if any) other places on earth, can one still harvest such affordable yet distinctively delicious wines

the stylistic range is so vast that it would bewilder if it did not bewitch us.

the stylistic range is so vast that it would bewilder (if it did not bewitch) us.

The valley of the Loire River is the bargain garden of France. For more than half of its 700 miles, slopes within 20 miles of the river's shores teem with vines, some indigenous, most introduced down the centuries from all over the rest of France.

解説>

The valley of the Loire River is the bargain garden of France. For more than half of its 700 miles, slopes within 20 miles of the river's shores teem with vines, some indigenous, most introduced down the centuries from all over the rest of France.
